My wife bought Pillsbury Pizza Bites yesterday and I must say, where have you been all my life!
I am so excited for these and so are my kids that we had to share it with the world. I guess “These are all dads” won’t fly for these little gems, and believe me I tried.
Now, we chose to cook them in the oven. Set it at 350 degrees, placed them on a cookie sheet and a way we went.
Cooking these pizza bites is a great way to teach your kids how to start cooking. Very easy to do and with my help got them working the oven. My kids love helping out in the kitchen and this time everything was all on them.
If you don’t want to use the oven, the microwave is another option for cooking the pizza bites and is also easy for kids to do them selves.
The smiles on my kids faces say it all. They got to make dad lunch and the pizza bites were a huge sucess. The best part is they taste amazing!
When your son says, “Why didn’t we make the whole box,” that tells me these will now be on rotation at home for lunches and snacks. I might even bring them to work with me but don’t tell my kids that.
Please feel free to check out Pillsbury’s parent company, General Mills, Life Made Delicious website for other great ideas to make with your kids. Please share your favourites with me so I can find other great foods to try with my kids.
